Contact Sheet — Lilith Ivory, Connie Sec again!

Fortunately for me when I’m dry of ideas for this insatiable thing called a blog, there’s always the large group of contacts I have on Flickr, or just surfing through the mess of groups dedicated to Second Life. And so it’s time for another edition of Contact Sheet:

=====

Lilith Ivory steps back to the days of black and white — what was once the standard of photography, and is still able to portray massive volumes — with a tableau she calls Foreboding. The use of B&W here, along with the positioning of the camera, and the name of the ship (which you can just start to make out on the right side) makes a story start pounding through your mind…. Another photo, in color but with a Forties theme to Lilith’s avatar, asks the questions all our avatars must ask themselves when we’re not behind the keyboard, guiding their every move.

=====

They say men won’t make passes at girls who wear glasses, but I’ve found that to be relative. And when your avatar looks like Connie Sec’s, with her ability for composition of portrait shots (Photo 1, Photo 2), well….

=====

That’s all for today, as I have some RL processing to do (in other words, clean the house). Keep your eyes open for the next column!
