Torley Linden, that is. The Master of Watermelons and the creator of the SL catchphrase “Friendly greetings!” has a new entry on the Big Blog (the Official Linden Blog, that is), with the door wide open to questions relating to tutorial and resident learning. Don’t bother asking him about when this or that element of the viewer will be fixed; he’s not here to answer those. And that’s assuming you can get a question in, for the comments were at 138 when I looked at the page, and the Big Blog caps comments at 150. However, you may find the answer to that little jewel of a question that has been nagging you about how to accomplish something.

Harper! Friendly greetings and thanks for the post! It unavoidably occurs to me that “Resident Education” is such a wide swath, but still, I try to be focused. We had a fun time in that thread, and I especially appreciated it when some knowledgeable Residents were helping others — that is the spirit of Second Life, after all. Some of the misc. tangents were also very delightful.
Great avatar photo on the right, and thanks also for sharing about your Second Life!
You’re welcome, Torley, and thanks in return for the kind comments. This was the first self-portrait I did actually, but I think it’s still one of the best.
I’ve been busy building my new business lately, so I haven’t got around to traveling as much as I’d like. But I’ll get out there scouting again at some point!
