2013 Oscar Fashion Photo Contest — What I’d Wear

Overture, Curtain, Lights 1

I’m not eligible for my own contest, naturally; that wouldn’t be fair, and would defeat the whole purpose of this thing.  But, if I was competing in someone else’s contest for a chance at a slice of L$11,000 in prizes, what would I wear?  Hmmm….

Overture, Curtain, Lights 2

How about this gown from Champagne! Sparkling Couture?  This strikes a compromise with its flounced skirt between a big “battleship” ball skirt and a column dress, and is ideal for when (not if!) your name is called to go up and collect your little gold man.  The collar with its black rosettes and glinting traces of fringe add a bit more notice and luxury to the confection.

And, when you’re in Hollywood, go for the glitter — lots of rocks to add the festive gala flash.  All the jewelry here (except for the rings) is from Chop Zuey’s “Symphony” collection, but is only available separately from what I’ve seen to date.
