When Harper told me of this gown from Shanghai (available at the GachaLand event; see down in the goodies list), I wanted to kick.  Gachas tend to gacha me, until I’m out of lindens.  Harper agrees with me, at least until she sees a thing she can’t live without; then, at that point, she unlimbers her wallet, and some designer gets a lot richer, lol.

The down side is that the play is L$ 85. The really down side is that Shanghai keeps their “rare” setting cranked up fairly high. (The dress is, of course, the rare item.) The good side is that the gown is exotic and lovely, and worth the money without a doubt. The really up side (for me) is that Harper had plenty of extras, and had bought duplicates of the dresses before she completed the color set (five different colors, according to Harper), so she gave me sets of the duplicates.

We both love the Asian influence of the ensemble.  The one real downer is that your arms will be passing through the front of the dress a lot, depending on your AO’s animations, so finding a pose for photography is tricky.  To us, the design’s beauty is worth this.
